Planning the Preliminary Work

I plan to take photos at a birthday party for my preliminary shoot. Initially, I felt uncertain about this choice because birthday parties are typically about having fun and capturing spontaneous moments, not necessarily focusing on getting the perfect shot. However, with several birthdays approaching, I didn't have much opportunity to explore other options. I have some photo ideas in mind, but I'm worried they might not turn out as I hope, especially given the limited time to capture them. Additionally, I'm concerned about using my phone for the shoot, fearing the results may not meet my expectations. I will do my best, even though I'm not very skilled with a camera and often find it frustrating.
The photos I plan to take are inspired by ideas I found on Pinterest and suggestions from my tutor.
I came across this photo trending online, and I love the concept of the age calling you. We could also use something like "Hello 21," for instance.

Also really like this idea in Black and White....

I'm eager to attempt creating this photo. I'll need a phone flashlight and a piece of paper with the age cut out. The outcome should resemble this....
(I'll also require a white background)

but the result should look something like this:

I absolutely adore this photo, and I believe it will be quite challenging, but I hope I'll manage to do it. I'll need a paper roll, then I'll place a flashlight through the tube and take the picture.

I was considering taking a photo with the person in the center, similar to this wedding photo here:

However, I would like to see more of the girls' reactions as shown here, and I prefer the photo not to be in black and white:

I would like another photo where everyone is shining a flashlight on the birthday person, highlighting her as the most important person. I could only find this picture to be similar..

I really enjoy the concept of the shadow and watching her reveal her age, as you can see.

I was also considering the idea of putting the phone in live mode with very low light exposure when the birthday person blows out the candles. Then, shuffle the pictures and switch to long exposure to capture the smoke from the candles. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but we'll see. I couldn't find an exact picture, but something along these lines...

Another idea my tutor and I had was to attempt capturing live photos again, where the guests are moving behind the stationary birthday person. Then, I would edit it to create a long exposure effect. This is a challenging photo to take, but I hope I can pull it off. I don't have a photo idea for this.
These are my ideas, and in the next blog, I hope to accomplish them all successfully.
