I was tasked with learning the composition rules of photography to determine which I preferred, and then taking five photos. While photographing my cousin's wife, I learned some composition techniques; she often reminded me to align myself with the center of the lines. I acquired most of the rules recently. Initially, I watched a YouTube video that introduced me to some concepts, but I eventually returned to the same video for guidance.
Remembering the rules and taking photos during my travels was challenging, so when I got the opportunity to take a photo that could also have a rule with it, it was very nice! Most photos I took in Switzerland when I was traveling with my parents through the Alps. But also some of the photos I have from my gallery were able to match with some of the composition rules that I like.
Frame into a Frame

Or the focues on one specific object or thing/person, as you can see in this photo from Porto is one of the things that I love capturing most. As it give you a feeling that something is more important.

From the photos I captured, I discovered my preference for symmetry, which became evident when I took two distinct photos in Switherland.
Symmetric one:

Non-symmetric one:

When I saw that there is also something called: the dominant eye rule, I remebered I did something that focuse more on a dominat eye but I didn't know if it will fit in that category. When I saw the photo I new that it was perfect for this rule..

Or fil in the frame, I love the idea but I didn't know I had a photo like this till I saw one that I took of my cat. But still wasn't sure if it will fit in the category so a made sure with my tutor and she said that it very nice and fits very nicely.

Now for the last photo category I chose the Natural line that lead the eye in the photo. Which I also found very nice and when I was that I have so many pictures with this rule, you can tell that I find it nice and satisfying. I could choose between two so I will just put both here for you.

That was everything for my composition exercise.
