Interview experience

My tutor and I decided that one of the initial preliminary tasks would be to conduct an interview. I mentioned that I had a birthday party to attend and asked if I could do the interview there. She agreed with my plan, which involved filming several guests, asking them to introduce themselves and explain their connection to my friend (the birthday girl), and then offer her some advice or share something they appreciate about her. The interview wasn't too challenging because I provided two questions for them to choose from, along with a self-introduction. I already knew some of the people there and had considered who I might ask to participate. As the birthday approached, I prepared everything I needed for filming: a new phone for high-quality video, microphones for clear sound, and a light sourced from another phone.

However, things didn't go as expected. When we arrived, I felt too nervous to proceed. There were many people, and I needed to pull them aside to the interview, but when it was time to film, my body seemed unwilling. I usually don't have trouble approaching people, but at birthday parties, I tend to relax and forget my tasks, but also not wanting to draw attention. I knew she would have enjoyed the video, but I was anxious. Nonetheless, I've learned from this experience and will focus on developing another interview idea that will be successful, motivating myself to see it through.
